While I was visiting UPitt to have my brain scanned with HDFT, I got a ride from a film teacher, who recorded this conversation in which she told me about her daughter’s brain injury at a young age. We spoke for a while about her struggle, as a mother, to not be overprotective and to let her daughter spread her wings and build confidence. Today, she sent me this recording and encouraged me to share with you all.
