Last night, I spoke along side two other brain injury survivors that I am very proud to call friends. Although Matt had to leave early, there was a larger than usual turn out and Glenn and I had a great time. I even got Glenn, and a lot of the audience, to sing “Rocky Raccoon” with me! A huge thank you to Chip Howe, who organized the meeting, and I also want to thank all of those who showed up. I am told that it was both inspirational and enlightening. I hope to do it again sometime!
There is brain injury support meeting every first Tuesday of each month at 7pm as well as a speaker meeting, like the one last night, every second Tuesday of each month. While the first meeting is for TBI survivors and loved ones, both of these meetings are open to the public. If you have any interest in brain injury and can make it out, please come by! We are all very welcoming of those who want to understand more.
