A video was taken on May 30th, 2011. I was originally extubated (taken off of a respirator) on May 20th after 12 days in a coma. I don’t remember anything, including this video, in between those comas. In this video you can hear how difficult it is for me to breathe. It only got worse.

It is bit embarrassing how delirious and confused I ways.

Also, notice how I’m squinting one eye? That is because I saw double. The images that I saw from each of my eyes was clear, but they did not line up correctly.

Today, some of my clients find and retain me in the early
stages of their medical crisis so that we can navigate their entire situation together. They partner with me so that they are not alone on this journey and they have someone on their team who has been where their loved is, and who is now where they want their loved one to be. We are able to find and to implement the best, safest, and most effective treatments for their situation, and to get support from their medical team… even if those treatments are outside of the standard of care.
